Checking in…

We have definitely kicked into high gear for this school year! Please look over the following important reminders, mentioned in order of when they occur…

REAL MEN SING is tomorrow at Marietta High School. Please be there by 12:45. Concert is at 7PM–FREE and open to the public! Visit the tab under Events for more info.
It is the LAST WEEKEND for our chorus fundraiser. This is the ONLY fundraiser we do all year and the success each year is what affords us the ability to participate in so many great events, bring guests in, and continue to make our program exceptional. Even if you are not participating in the fundraiser, please consider asking for/making a donation, because the chorus program receives 100% proceeds from donations.  Visit the tab under Events for more info.
Parents, we need lots of help during fundraiser turn-in days, which are this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, September 11 and 12. Click here to sign up!
Information went home today to District Honor Chorus participants, Sixth Grade Statewide participants, and students interested in auditioning for All-State Chorus (7th and 8th grade only). Visit the tabs for each of those events for more details and the information papers. ONE IMPORTANT TYPO/CHANGE: ALL-STATE CHORUS REGISTRATION IS $25 NOT $35.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS: Guys and Girls Weeks!

In each class information was given out for the upcoming  GUYS WEEK (August 21-23) and GIRLS WEEK (August 27-28). We are very excited about these new events and many guests will be present throughout both events to lead some of the rotations.

GUYS WEEK guests include Walton Chorus men, a percussionist, and a gym trainer. GIRLS WEEK guests include Walton Chorus ladies, a percussionist, and a guest choral director from another school. Formal uniform fittings for 7th graders and 8th grade new students will also occur-don’t miss it!
